Backstory

Born in a small, poor village outside of the Capital, Evan grew up as an only child. His father died before he was born, and his mother did her very best to raise her only child. Evan struggled as a poor kid, bullied and bullying in turn, until his aptitude shone through. Given a place in the Military academy, Evan found his ticket to rise up, and he did his very best to knuckle down and study as hard as he could. Despite being picked on by some of his peers, Evan graduated top of his class, and was actively scouted for a place as a Medicus in a special support group that shifted around as the need was required. This guaranteed his Mother a comfortable life in the Capital.Evan was sent to a variety of battlefields across the Star; war was a vile thing he soon discovered, but he focused on his role. Saving lives. As a Medicus, he would make sure to provide triage to both friend and foe, and learned a variety of combat-talents. However, with the war in Ala Mhigo starting to turn, Evan was summoned home along with his Legion. That’s when the summoning of Anima happened. Whether by luck or fate, Evan was spared from the tempering, and could only watch in horror as his comrades and friends turned on eachother. Evan did what he could, but soon fear gripped him. He blacked out and awoke deep in the snowy tundra, half-frozen to death, covered in blood, stumbling his way away from the Capital. On foot, he made his way West, towards and through Ala Mhigo, until reaching Baelsar’s wall, and then Gridania. Now in Eorzea, he followed his intuition and found a place refugees were welcome; the Drunken Moogle tavern.

OOCly you can call me Sarto.I’m from the UK, so I usually keep EU times, but I also work shifts, including nights, so sometimes my timezone is a bit fucky. Because of this, I tend to prefer to RP over Discord, though I’m more than happy to find common times to meet up in-game.
I’m over 21 and I’ll only write with people whom are likewise over 21.For RP I have four main rules. No IC/OOC bleed. Communication is King. No God-modding or controlling of one another’s character. Consent is also King (He and Communication are married and rule side by side happily)
I suffer from ADHD, Depression and Anxiety, which makes me feel like reaching out to people is pestering, and I can also be rather forgetful. On the other hand, I adore people reaching out to me and reminding me of things, so please know I’m always open and love to be approached.
*I will poke people from time to time, to make sure you are okay and/or still interested in writing together. If you’re not, please feel free to say.I adhere to an incredibly strict policy of there being no IC and OOC bleed. I’ve been RPing for a long time, and I consider it one of the cardinal rules (read above). With that in mind, I also love making friends with the people I write with, and am always happy to listen and provide whatever help I can to my friends.
I’m incredibly patient, and will happily pause scenes and wait weeks or months if needed; I know first-hand that life happens and can fucking suck sometimes; RP is for fun, so please never stress about it.
I’m open to doing content together, but timezones suck (read above).
If you’ve any issues with anything I write; the scene we’re in, a phrase I’ve used, be it taken offense or simply not understanding, absolutely anything at all, please tell me. I firmly believe RP is only fun and worthwhile if both all parties involved are having fun.
